Ivan Demidov Signs with Poker Royalty for Worldwide Poker Marketing

Poker Royalty, the industry’s premier poker representation agency, announced today that 2008 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event runner-up Ivan Demidov has selected Poker Royalty for worldwide management and marketing representation across all major platforms. Poker Royalty will work with Ivan to pursue new sponsorship, endorsement, branding and licensing opportunities across a wide array of media, online and mobile.

The 27-year old Demidov, hailing from Moscow, Russia, took the poker world by storm in 2008 making history as the only player to make both the Main Event final tables of the WSOP and the WSOP Europe, finishing second and third, respectively. Ivan’s unprecedented 2008 WSOP performance also included an 11th place finish in a $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event.

The popularity of poker in Russia has risen in the past few years due to major cashes by some of Russia’s top players such as Alex Kravchenko, Stanislav Alekhin, and now, Demidov. In the few short years as a professional poker player, Demidov has amassed over $6.4 million in career tournament earnings and he currently sits atop Russia’s All-Time Money List.
