Patrik Antonius Signs With Full Tilt Poker

Poker Royalty announced that client Patrik Antonius has signed an exclusive sponsorship agreement to become the newest member of Full Tilt Poker. As a member of the prestigious Team Full Tilt, Antonius will wear the Full Tilt logo during tournaments, play online at, make personal appearances and appear in advertising for the online poker site. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

“Patrik Antonius is a young rising star in the poker world who has shown he will be a force for decades to come,” commented fellow Team Full Tilt member Howard Lederer. “We’re thrilled to have Patrik join Team Full Tilt.”
Antonius, born and raised in Finland, began playing poker professionally in 2002. In 2005, Antonius exploded onto the international poker scene where he had six top-15 finishes in major tournaments and earnings totaling nearly $1.7 million. Antonius captured victories in 2005 at the Scandinavian Poker Championship and the EPT Baden Classic, and also captured a third-place finish in the EPT Barcelona Open and a second-place finish in the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic.

Antonius has solidified himself as one of the most respected young players in the world, making final table television appearances on the World Poker Tour (WPT), European Poker Tour (EPT), and the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Antonius has also been featured on NBC shows Poker after Dark and the National Heads-Up Poker Championship, as well as GSN’s High Stakes Poker.
