Few players in the history of tournament poker have burst onto the scene the way Paul Wasicka did in 2006. With a 15th place finish in the 2006 World Poker Tour (WPT) World Championship Paul Wasicka earned $146,460 and in the process put the poker world on notice that he would be heard from again.

A little more than three months later Paul Wasicka finished runner-up in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event and instantly became a star in the poker world.
