James Sullivan
 

James serves Poker Royalty as its President spearheading the business operations and strategic initiatives for the company. He oversees the career management of several clients through contract negotiations, endorsements, licensing and merchandising opportunities. James also directs the company’s celebrity representation division, connecting celebrities with online poker companies and charity events to fulfill their marketing and mission objectives. In addition to his client responsibilities, James works closely with Poker Royalty’s offices in the U.K. on international business development.

James earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from University of Wisconsin – La Crosse and his J.D. from Marquette University Law School. He is a licensed attorney and a former Adjunct Professor of Sports Law at Hamline University Law School. Before joining Poker Royalty, James worked as an athlete agent representing Olympic ski and snowboard athletes.

James is a frequent speaker at both universities and sports conferences, most recently as a guest panelist at the National Sports Law Institute’s conference on Legal and Business Issues in Emerging Individual Performer Sports. In addition, he is a recipient of the Certificate in Sports Law from the National Sports Law Institute and a member of the Sports & Entertainment Section of the State Bar.
