Poker Industry Veteran Johnnie Walker joins Poker Royalty

Poker Royalty, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of poker industry veteran Johnnie Walker to its team of talented agents and representatives. As the former Director of Marketing for Card Player Magazine, Walker’s wealth of poker business experience and poker insider knowledge will allow him to provide exceptional service to Poker Royalty and its clients.

After earning his Bachelor of Science from the University of Washington and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Denver, Walker became Proctor & Gamble’s “Rookie of the Year” as an account manager for its Medical Division.

While at Card Player Magazine, Walker handled all marketing initiatives, was responsible for distribution of the publication, acted as the national account manager for all land-based casinos in the U.S., and was responsible for all marketing and promotional programs at all World Poker Tour (WPT) and World Series of Poker (WSOP) events.

“It is a major coup for Poker Royalty to land such a well respected poker industry executive as our new Director of Corporate Marketing,” said Poker Royalty founder Brian Balsbaugh. “Johnnie’s experience, attitude and contacts will add a tremendous amount of value to our team as we strive to provide our clients the best service possible.”

“In the gaming world, Poker Royalty’s reputation and roster of clients is unequaled,” said Walker. “I’ve always admired the organization from afar and I am very excited to help market its exclusive clients like Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Antonio Esfandiari, David Williams, reigning WSOP Champion Jamie Gold and 2006 Card Player Magazine Player of the Year, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi.
