Lauren Kling studied Engineering and Business at The University of California, Berkeley.  After teaching a Poker and Blackjack Class at Berkeley her senior year, she graduated, moved to Las Vegas, and pursued her passion of playing poker professionally.  Since her move to Vegas, in just a few years, she has traveled the world, played in over 10 different countries, had over $1.3M in winnings, is a Team Pro for RunGoodGear, was a WSOP Analyst for NBC, and became the only female sponsored by the largest online poker site in the country, Ultimate Poker.

Kling’s career began to take off in 2010, online, with an impressive win of $163k in the UBOC 4 Championship.  Other notable scores include her $1k Monday final table for $45k, FTOPS Main Event Final Table for $28k, and $150 Rebuy for $28K.  Additionally, she showed that she could conquer the live tournament circuit, after being the only individual to have back to back 2nd place finished in the PCA Ladies event in 2011 and 2012.  She was among one of the first chosen to be a “One’s to Watch,” whom the World Poker Tour features on television and sees as upcoming rising stars in the poker world.  WPT’s prediction came true and she has since had several deep runs in WPT events, including a 29th place finish at the LAPC for $37K and a 14th place finish at Festa al Lago for $32k.  This year, Kling beat out 6,000 people to place 387th in The WSOP Main Event for $28k.  Since becoming a pro, Kling has shown the poker world that she is smart, beautiful, and deadly at the tables.
