Prahlad Friedman is renowned for his high-stakes cash game aggressiveness, which has yielded incredible results both online and off. He is arguably one of online poker’s best ring game players with millions in winnings to his name, and is regarded as one of the very first online poker pros and one of the biggest cash game players around.
Prahlad has been extremely successful in live tournament play. He owns a coveted WSOP bracelet for his first place finish in the 2003 $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha event, and made a deep run in the 2006 WSOP Main Event, eventually finishing 20th and taking home $500,000. In 2009, he took down the WPT Legends of Poker event for over one million dollars. In total, Prahlad has won over $2.3 million dollars in tournaments alone.
But don’t look to Prahlad to sit down and talk endlessly about his game – that’s not his style. He’d much rather rap about his successes and his inevitable future fortunes. Friedman is known for his internet message board raps and has even appeared on T.V., rapping for an ESPN segment of ‘The Nuts’ at the 2006 WSOP.
In addition to his poker playing expertise and rapping abilities, Prahlad is notorious for his skills on the basketball court as well. In early 2010 Prahlad broke Steve Nash’s record for most free throws in a minute and he has openly invited Nash to a free-throw competition for charity.
