Scotty Nguyen, born October 28, 1962,  is a Vietnamese-American professional poker player who is a five-time WSOP bracelet winner, most notably as the winner of the 1998 World Series Of Poker Main Event and the 2008 World Series Of Poker $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. World Championship. He is the first, and currently only, player to win both the WSOP Main Event and the $50,000 Players’ Championship.

Scotty will forever be remembered for his classic table talk during the final hand of the 1998 World Series Of Poker Main Event. With a full house on the board 8-8-8-9-9, Scotty went all-in holding one of the last two 9’s and said “You call, gonna be all over baby.” to Kevin McBride. McBride quickly called and said he played the board as Scotty turned over the winning hand. Scotty won his second bracelet and $1,000,000 on that unforgettable day.
